Walgreen's Upcoming FREEBIES, Deals and Steals!

This is a long post - but at the end, you're going to get a whole lot of stuff for a total of less than $4!!! It will be worth your while!

So, every now and then, Walgreen's has a weekly sale that is just super! Beginning this Sunday, April 15th, there are some incredible deals to be had!!! Make sure that you pick up a Sunday paper this Sunday, because some of these deals are free (or even money-makers) if you have the coupons from this Sunday's paper. There will be a quick recap at the bottom of the page to show you your savings in real numbers.

First let's quickly discuss 'register rewards' (RRs). These are 'receipt' type things that print when you check out and they're good for almost anything in the store - they're basically like 'gift cards'. Click here to see a photo of one. You can turn right around and use them, or wait until your next shopping trip. Just remember that you cannot earn an RR on a product, then turn around and use that RR on the same product (well, you can, but you will not get a new RR).

You can only get one RR per item, but if you take in your hubby or wife, or a kid, you can do two transactions and double your savings!

So if you walk out of the store with $20 or $30 in RRs, that's $20 or $30 you'll have to spend the next time you go in. Use it to buy more items that have RRs attached, or anything else you need. It's like FREE money! The best way to utilize RRs (and it takes a little out-of-pocket to start) is to buy your initial items like the ones below, and then use the RRs the following week or so to buy new stuff with RRs attached so that you'll always have a supply of them to use to shop with. Capisce?

Here are the abbreviations I'll be using below:
M = manufacturer coupon
S = store coupon
RR = register reward
WYB = when you buy
SS = Smart Source Sunday Paper Insert
RP = Red Plum Sunday Paper Insert
So remember, when you see an M or an S, that means that there is a coupon for you!

Here we go!

99¢ RR WYB Pepsi Next, 20 oz, 99¢ (makes it FREE) To recap - this says 99 cent register reward when you buy Pepsi Next 20 oz for 99 cents. Limit is one RR, but you can stop by Walgreen's each time you pass one during the week and get another. And have your hubby or wife do the same!

$6 RR WYB Similasan Nasal Allergy Relief Spray, .68 oz, at $6 (makes it FREE)

$9 RR WYB Nasal Ease Allergy Relief Spray, .18 oz, at $9 (makes it FREE)
M -$5 off Nasal Ease allergy reliever, RP 3/11(makes it FREE + you make $5!!!)
This is for those of you who have followed my instructions and you have the Sunday Paper inserts saved...if you use the $5 off from the 3/11 Red Plum, you will actually MAKE $5 on this deal!!!
Let this be a lesson - get those Sunday papers, pull out the coupon inserts, mark them with the date, then put them in a pile, stack, box, drawer, whatever.
Get the Florida Times Union for $1 an issue (Sunday only) at www.jacksonville.com/sunday

$1 RR WYB Goody Elastics, 27 pk., or Scrunchies, 3 or 4 pk., at $1.99 (makes it $.99)

$2 RR WYB (2) Nivea for Men Skin Care or Shave Gel at $3.50 ea.
M -$2 off Nivea for Men face care or (2) shave gels or foams, .3-8.7 oz, RP 4/15
(buy (2) face care items, use (2) $2 off, makes it 50¢ ea.) - Note - you'll need two papers for this deal, but it's probably worth it to buy the extra one here - it will pay for itself with this one coupon.

$2 RR WYB Colgate Pro-Relief Toothpaste, 4 or 6 oz, at $3.99
M -$1 off Colgate Total Advanced, Optic White or Sensitive Pro-Relief, 4 oz+, SS 4/15
(buy Sensitive Pro-Relief, use $1 off, makes it 99¢)
Note: I typically don't want you to pay more than about $.25 for toothpaste, but this is a good deal for the Colgate Sensitive.
Also, if you've bought 2 papers to get the Nivea deal (above) you can get another toothpaste deal with another transaction later in the week or with someone else with you to ring up separately.

Aquafresh Kids Toothpaste, 4.6 oz, $2
S -$1 off Aquafresh kids toothpaste, 4.6 oz, April Walgreens coupon book or printable
M -$1 off Aquafresh kids toothpaste or training paste, 1.5 oz+, RP 4/15
(use store and mfr, makes it FREE)
Note: there is no RR attached here, so you can get as many of these deals as you have coupons for. Remember that you can 'stack' a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same item. For the Walgreen's coupon book coupon, (coupon books available by the Walgreen's sale flyers in the store) you only need ONE no matter how many of the item you buy - the register will take that one coupon and apply it to as many of that item as you buy.

RECAP! This recap assumes that you're buying everything above, and that you will have (2) of this Sunday's paper coupon inserts (yes, you'll buy two papers...they'll pay for themselves!)

2. Similasan $6
3. Nasal Ease Allergy Relief Spray $9
