CVS MoneyMakers and FREE Stuff!

There are some good deals at CVS next week (beginning 4/15). If you read the super deals next week for Walgreen's (see it here) you will see that buying two Sunday papers this week will more than pay for themselves!

Let's recap what you need to know about CVS:
You'll need an Extra Care Card available free in the store...they just hand it to you.
ECBs are Extra Care Bucks. These are printed when you check out and are just like money to use in the store. For more information, see this page.

Getting Started Scenario
It’s important to start small in CVS. So this is a great plan to help you get your first free tube of toothpaste. We suggest you almost never buy toothpaste. Apparently it's a loss leader in the drugstores, so it's almost always free or cheap. This will get you started! (Aside from these two transactions, you can add in some of the other items above, but this will make your out-of-pocket cost a little more, even though you'll get more ECBs for next time).

Transaction #2 (after you've totaled out the above so your ECB will print and you can use it here:)

-$2 ECB (that you just earned on transaction #1)
Total Due: nothing!

You could repeat for another tube of free toothpaste if you really want to since the limit on the toothpaste is (2)… but don’t get too excited...toothpaste is almost always free!
