Welcome to Savings!

Well, here we are! I promised that if I felt that there was enough interest, I would do a blog or website about couponing and savings. Please let me encourage you to 'follow' the blog so that when I post new, hot ways to save, you will know about it!

I'm going to try to post a really great coupon deal everyday. I want you to keep in mind that in order to really take advantage of coupon savings, you MUST get the Sunday paper. You can get a subscription at www.jacksonville.com/sunday for $12 for 12 weeks! Each week, simply pull out the coupon flyers, clip them together and write Sunday's date, then stick 'em in a pile, box, or whatever. Until your subscription is active, start buying the Sunday paper. Here's our coupon deal for the day:

COUPON DEAL OF THE DAY

Beneful Dog Food only $0.99! Here's How!

Purina Beneful Dry Dog Food 3.5lb bag $5.49 at Target

Use this Target coupon (available here to print) for $2 off 1

Also use the $2.50 off 1 from the February 19 Red Plum Coupon Flyer

[You may be wondering how you can use (2) coupons on one item. In the coupon world, we call this 'stacking'. You can 'stack' one store coupon and one manufacturer's coupon per item, thus maximizing your savings!]

TODAY'S FREEBIE!

Our first 'freebie' is a free sample of the new Tide pods. Just click here then click on free sample! Why free samples? You may be one who doesn't want a bunch of free samples all over the place, but they are great for travel or donating, and the sample usually comes with a pretty good coupon!
